September 30, 2002 - I guess I have to start somewhere!!! I love this photo of Ethan! The itty bitty part of the the car seat next to him is Grace Jumonville's seat----His cousin who is 6 months older than he is!
I am pretty sure we were on the way to the zoo!! Ethan and I went to the zoo a bazillion times per year back in the day!

It's been such long tim e

So, in order to catch up...

we will start from the present and as I remember things...well, if that is possible, I will post!

Ethan started the 3rd grade on Wednesday August 19, 2009! I can't believe it. It has been a long summer of many roads...most less traveled.

Linden is 8.5 months and 22 pounds and the longest thing I have ever seen! She is rolling, pushing up and finally sitting up for more than 2 seconds at a time. She has not been into milestones...nor do we care! She will be able to sit up in Kindergarten, right? Poor third kid!

Saige is 22 months and is talking up a storm. Good think we don't cuss around here ( well, I do occasionally when aggravated) because we would have a sailor walking around! She even said "hamburger" clear as day a week or so ago. She is a big fan of Skype and misses her brother so much when he goes to see his dad. Bummer they don't have skype and see not to be interested. Oh well. Side story..thinking of getting a phone for Ethan...a "migo" which is a gps for your kids, and 4 progammable numbers are the only ones they can call. I think it is cool and handy since hegoes to his dads house...but, I swore I wouldn't be one of "those Moms..."

26 weeks....

Like clockwork...26 weeks is my trouble spot! Yesterday, last night and this morning I had painful cramping and contractions. I feel so helpless when it happens! I don't want to have a sick baby!

So, I went this morning to Dr. Jackson and he put me on the monitor. Baby J is soooo active. He thinks that might be causing some of the contractions and uterine irritability. But, we found out.....IT'S A GIRL! Clear as day! I am excited! I think it will be nice for Saige to have a sister near her age. Well, I hope. Most of the girls I know who are close together...well, they hate eachother! Maybe that happens later on! I think if they are going to share a room and hang with eachother...two girls is best. I think that means number 4 is a possibility. I want that boy for Todd and Ethan so bad. Bringing me to Ethan. I called him to tell him the good news...HE CRIED!!!

I knew at first he wanted a boy but, we had talked about it so much he seemed okay with it. But, he wasn't. I tried to point out the good parts...he wasn't having it. Although he doesn't think so...I think God knows what he is doing. I think it would be hard for him to have a boy...to share Toddy right now. It is good he is THE boy of the house!

Put a band aid on it!!!

Well, as some of you know gas is part of being pregnant. Some days are worse than others...broccoli! So, when putting Ethan to bed...I aromasized his room.. . He goes intot he bathroom to brush his teeth....hands me a bandaid and says..."put this on your butthole"

Ethan...all grown up!

One of the many highlights of my day is when i pick up Ethan from school! Funny story...at least to me...we were in traffic in HOUSTON...surprise....and we were studying for his Social Studies Test. He was quizzing me on what I might know about his test subject! Well, I couldn't understand some questions and would say "WHAT? Huh? I don't understand?" So, he sighs and under his breath says, "Man, you're deaf!" He didn't mean for me to hear....

I laughed so hard! When did he get old enough to say that? Now, that I have a blog...I will get to write all the funny memories down!

Saige today had her first "Pebbles Flintstone" Hairdo compliments of Norma...our Guatemalan helper! I got home from the BABY J appointment to see a purple plastic barrette holding her hair straight UP!! It looked painful! I will attach pictures! Too funny!

On Baby J, went for my weekly checkup. I have not progressed past the 2 cm dilation! Wahoo! We tried for the THIRD time to see the sex to no avail! Baby is breech or breach? and can't see the bottom parts! By measurement I am 26 weeks 6 days...by dates I am 25 weeks. So, we guess 26 weeks! I like to think of baby j younger than older! Keep that baby in!!!

I can't wait to see what the sex is...I feel like if I have a tangible name or thing to pray for it is easier for me to connect! Next Tuesday we will try again with a 3 D ultrasound!

Oh yeah...it has been 2 years since I have smoked a cigarette! WaHOOOOOOO!

Catching up with the times!

So, through a friend or 20, I decided to start blogging about our family. I have missed 8 years of Ethan and almost 1 of Saige's first year! You will see backtracking and current events! I don't want them searching for pictures, events or memories because I did not do my part!
